The HRCP (Historic Regularity Car Pass) is a vehicle identity document based on an FIA template. Unlike the elaborate HTP it is a simple document and is expressly restricted for use only in historic regularity rallies.
That makes the HRCP the document for our discipline: crews who do not contest best-time events but regularity rallies do not need a full Historic Technical Passport with period specification and in-depth technical scrutiny – the leaner HRCP is enough. It is issued by the national sporting authority (ASN).
Whether any vehicle document is required at all is decided by the event's supplementary regulations: many national and touring-style regularity rallies need none, while internationally listed events may require an HRCP or HTP.
