2. General notice

We strive to protect your data securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws and technical possibilities. Personal data is generally transmitted in encrypted form. We use the SSL encryption system; however, we point out that the transmission of data over the internet (e.g. by email) may have security vulnerabilities.

This privacy policy is regularly updated and adapted to applicable laws and the services we offer. The current privacy policy applies at any given time.

For certain offers and services, special, supplementary or additional privacy policies or other legal documents such as General Terms and Conditions (GTC), terms of use or participation conditions may apply.

3. Processing of personal data

By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of data as described below.

3.1 Terms

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. This may include, for example, a person's name, address, email address or telephone number. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing encompasses any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, acquisition, deletion, retention, alteration, destruction and use of personal data.

3.2 Legal bases

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. To the extent that EU GDPR is applicable, we also process personal data on the following legal bases in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) GDPR:

  • lit. a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
  • lit. b) Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject and for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.
  • lit. c) Processing of personal data for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or under applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is wholly or partially applicable.
  • lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
  • lit. f) Processing of personal data to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties, unless the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the data subject prevail. Legitimate interests include in particular our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

3.3 Nature and Scope

We only process the personal data that is necessary to provide our services in a secure, reliable and user-friendly manner. This includes, among other things, inventory and contact data, browser and device data, content data, meta and usage data, location data, sales, contract and payment data.

We generally only process personal data with the consent of the data subject, unless processing is permitted for other legal reasons, such as to fulfil a contract or to protect our legitimate interests. We also process data that we receive from third parties, from publicly accessible sources or when providing our services, provided this is legally permissible.

3.4 Duration

We process personal data for the period required for the respective purpose. In the case of longer-term retention obligations, due to legal and other obligations that we have, we restrict processing accordingly.

The criterion for the duration of the retention of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. Once the period has expired, we routinely delete the data unless it is still required for the fulfilment or initiation of contracts.

4. Rights of Data Subjects

In accordance with applicable laws, you have various rights regarding your personal data. You can assert the following rights with our data protection officer:

  • Information about your stored data and the associated processing
  • Correction of incorrect personal data
  • Deletion of your stored data
  • Restriction of data processing, if we are not yet permitted to delete your data due to legal obligations
  • Objection to the processing of your data
  • Data portability, i.e. receipt of the stored data in a machine-readable format, provided you have consented to the data processing or have concluded a contract with us

5. Data Security

Although we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of data, the processing of personal data on the internet may always involve potential security risks. We therefore cannot guarantee complete data security.

Access to our online services is provided using transport encryption (SSL / TLS, in particular with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, abbreviated HTTPS). Most browsers indicate transport encryption with a padlock in the address bar.

Access to our online services, like any other use of the internet, is subject to surveillance by security authorities in Switzerland, the EU, the USA and other countries, without any specific suspicion. We have no direct influence on the processing of personal data by intelligence services, police and other security authorities.

6. Use of the Website

In order to continuously improve the quality of our services, the following technologies are integrated on our website:

6.1 Cookies

In certain cases, we may use cookies. Cookies allow the information and services on our website to be optimised in the interest of users. Cookies allow us to recognise users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by adjusting the settings in the internet browser you are using, thereby permanently objecting to the setting of cookies.

6.2 Use of Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Our web analysis includes the anonymous collection, gathering and evaluation of data relating to the behaviour of visitors to websites. A web analytics service records, among other things, data about which third-party website a user came from to our website, which subpages of the website were accessed, or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. To record this information, Google Analytics uses a cookie. As mentioned above, you can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by adjusting the settings in the internet browser you are using.

6.3 Use of Script Libraries

In order to display content correctly, we use script and font libraries on our website (e.g. Google Web Fonts). Accessing a script or font library results in a connection being established with the provider of the library. It is possible that the operator of the library may collect data from this connection.

6.4 Use of Google Maps

We use an interface to geo-specific data from Google to visualise location-based information. Google records and uses data about the use of the map function. Information about the use of data by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

6.5 Use of Social Plugins

Social plug-ins from various social network providers may be used on our website. Through these plug-ins, the corresponding social networks use certain information, which may also include personal data. If the data subject is simultaneously logged into a social network while visiting our website, it can be assumed that personal data will be transmitted. We have no influence over which data is used. We ourselves do not use social plug-ins to record personal data. The privacy policies of the respective social networks provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data.

6.6 Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we store the information and contact details you provide in order to process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.

The processing of data entered in the contact form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an informal notification by email. The legality of the processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain stored with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

6.7 Data Collection for Applications

As part of an application process, we may collect and process personal data provided by applicants. This can also be done electronically, in particular if applicants submit their documents by email or via an online form on our website.

6.8 Use of reCAPTCHA v3

reCAPTCHA v3 is a service provided by Google that we use to prevent spam bots and other abusive activities on our website. When using reCAPTCHA v3, certain information is collected from your device and transmitted to Google to verify your human identity. This information may include the IP address of your device, the type of browser you are using, the location of your device and your interactions with the website.

Please note that the use of reCAPTCHA v3 means that your data is transmitted to Google. However, Google has assured that this information will only be used to verify your human identity and will not be used for other purposes. For more information about Google's privacy policy, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We use reCAPTCHA v3 to enhance the security of our website and improve the experience of our users. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of reCAPTCHA v3, please feel free to contact us.

7. Third-Party Services, Including Abroad

We use third-party services in order to be able to provide our offering on a permanent, user-friendly, secure and reliable basis. Such services also serve to embed content into our website. Such services – for example hosting and storage services, video services and payment services – require your Internet Protocol (IP) address, as such services would otherwise be unable to transmit the corresponding content. Such services may be located outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), provided that adequate data protection is ensured.

For their own security-related, statistical and technical purposes, third parties whose services we use may also process data in connection with our offering and from other sources – including using cookies, log files and tracking pixels – in aggregated, anonymised or pseudonymised form.

8. Newsletter

You can sign up for our company's newsletter via a form or by email. Where possible, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address upon the first dispatch of the newsletter using the double opt-in procedure.

You have the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains a corresponding unsubscribe link. Should this link be missing, we ask you to contact the data protection officer of our website.

8.1 Tracking Pixel

Our newsletter may contain a tracking pixel. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such emails to enable the recording and analysis of log files. These are used for the statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. The analysis can be carried out anonymously or with reference to personal data.

8.2 Mailchimp

We use the Mailchimp service to send newsletters. By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to your email address being transferred to Mailchimp so that we can send you our newsletter. Your data will be processed by Mailchimp in accordance with the company's terms and applicable data protection laws. For more information, please refer to Mailchimp's privacy policy at https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with Mailchimp's privacy policy and data protection provisions before subscribing to our newsletter.

9. Copyrights

The content contained on our website, such as texts, images, graphics and videos, are protected by copyright. Any use, reproduction or distribution of this content without the express permission of the data protection officer, as the holder of the copyright, is prohibited. If you wish to use content on our website, please contact the data protection officer so that we can grant you the necessary permission. We assume no liability for the infringement of copyrights by third parties who use content on our website without our permission.

10. General Disclaimer

We assume no liability for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness or quality of the information provided on our website. Liability claims against us relating to damages of a material or immaterial nature caused by the use or non-use of the information provided, or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information, are generally excluded, unless there is demonstrably intentional or grossly negligent fault on the part of the provider.

We reserve the right to change, supplement, delete or temporarily or permanently discontinue parts of the pages or the entire offering at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee the availability or operation of our website and are not liable in particular for damages arising from the inability to use it or from technical disruptions, unless these are due to intent or gross negligence on our part.

We assume no liability for the content of external links to which we merely refer. The operators of the linked pages are solely responsible for their content. By accessing our website, you expressly agree that we accept no liability for any damages that may arise from the use of our website or from accessing external links. This disclaimer applies to all damages and claims, regardless of whether they are based on direct or indirect damages, as well as consequential damages or damages resulting from lost profits or other financial losses.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time to adapt it to current legislation, technological developments or changes in our services. The current version of the privacy policy can always be found on our website. If significant changes are made, we will inform you of these changes in an appropriate manner.

12. Responsibility and Questions

If you wish to object to the collection, processing or use of your data by us in accordance with these privacy provisions, either in whole or for individual measures, you can direct your objection to the data protection officer listed at the beginning of the privacy policy.

If you have any questions about data protection, please write an email or address them directly to the data protection officer listed at the beginning of the privacy policy.
