Drivers' briefing

The meeting before the start at which the rally direction explains the schedule, special features and safety points of the event. Often mandatory.

The drivers' briefing (German Fahrerbesprechung) is a meeting before the start at which the rally direction explains the schedule, route particulars and safety points to the crews and answers questions. Attendance is often mandatory, and the start documents or the roadbook may be handed out there. It ensures that all crews start with the same information. In German it is called the Fahrerbesprechung.
