The rally plate (German Rallye-Plate) is an additional plate fitted to the car at rallies and tours – usually at the front, sometimes also at the rear, without covering the actual number plate. It shows the start number and often the event name and date. As an alternative or complement to start-number stickers, it is a popular souvenir with crews and fans.
