Organisation time

The period during which a control point is staffed or the event is running. It includes the set-up and take-down time needed by the marshals.

The organisation time (German Organisationszeit) is the period during which a control point is staffed, or the event as a whole is running. It covers not only the time when participants actually pass through, but also the set-up and take-down time the marshals need. A crew arriving at a control outside the organisation time may find it no longer manned. At an Oldtimerwandern, the organisation time is often the only time constraint of the entire event.
