HRCR Beginners Road Rally Championship: all rounds at a glance

British road rally championship by the HRCR for beginners

The HRCR Beginners Road Rally Championship is a British road rally championship of the Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR) for beginners.

The championship is intended as a stepping stone to the Interclub Championship. Crews with no more than four finishes in Interclub or HERO Red & Black events may enter; a free Clubmans licence and HRCR membership are required, and entrants must register for the Beginners championship for points to count at the listed events.

The events often use the same routes and special tests as the Interclub events, but crews do not plot their own route: they receive a marked map or a tulip roadbook, and the emphasis is on following the route accurately, although timing still counts. Everyone competes in a single class regardless of vehicle age, and the vehicle requirements are the same as in the Interclub Championship. Listed events include the Tour of Cheshire, Three Castles, East Anglian Classic and Cotswold Historic.

Here you will find all rounds of the “HRCR Beginners Road Rally Championship” series with dates, start locations and details – directly from the organisers.
