Niedersächsische Orientierungs-Meisterschaft: all rounds at a glance

Lower Saxony state championship in navigation rallying

The Niedersächsische Orientierungs-Meisterschaft is the state championship in navigation sport for classic cars and youngtimers in Lower Saxony, organised by the NFM.

Several rounds with championship status form the basis of the annual standings; navigation skills are decisive for success.

The organiser is the Niedersächsischer Fachverband für Motorsport e.V. (NFM); rounds follow the ADAC basic regulations for sport-touring navigation rallies. A team consists of a driver and a co-driver, no licence is needed, and vehicles must comply with road traffic regulations. Classes are Beginners, Advanced, Experts and Young- & Oldtimer.

The annual ranking applies from two designated rounds, and the best four results count. In rounds run by their own club, entrants score no points and instead receive an extra result based on the average of their results at other clubs’ rounds. Honorary prizes go to the class winners and the top three overall; the title is “Niedersächsischer Meister im Orientierungssport” (Lower Saxony navigation champion).

Here you will find all rounds of the “Niedersächsische Orientierungs-Meisterschaft” series with dates, start locations and details – directly from the organisers.
