ACP Clássicos Cup – Automóvel Club de Portugal

Historic regularity at the Automóvel Club de Portugal

The ACP Clássicos Cup brings together the regularity events of ACP Clássicos, the classic-car club of the Automóvel Club de Portugal. In Portugal the ACP is also the body that inspects and certifies historic vehicles over 30 years old, which places the series at the centre of the Portuguese classic scene.

The competition is historic regularity (Regularidade Histórica): what counts is not speed but holding the prescribed average for each sector as precisely as possible. A typical event such as the Rally ACP Clássicos runs around 135 kilometres with several regularity stages, for example in the Mafra region. Cars are split into five classes by build year.

Classic and neo-classic cars across a wide range of build years are eligible. The series is aimed at crews who want to experience Portuguese landscapes and roads in a steady, sociable competition.
