Targa Classica

Targa Classica is Australia's leading classic car event, bringing the magic of Italy's "Grandi Eventi" to the fifth continent. Every year in early March, the four-day festival turns the finest driving roads in the state of Victoria into a stage for regularity, style and automotive passion. Inspired by Italy's classic regularity events, Targa Classica combines sporting challenge with culture, fine food and landscape. Along the route, crews discover regional highlights, with selected wineries and top-class cuisine. There are two classes: Classica for historic vehicles built from 1906 to 1976 and Legends for more modern classics from 1977 onwards. In addition, crews compete in the Scuderia Trofeo team classification. More than 100 years of European classic driving tradition – reinterpreted Down Under.
