Targa Classica is Australia's leading regularity rally – inspired by Italy's legendary Grandi Eventi such as the Targa Florio and the Mille Miglia. The rally covers more than 1,200 kilometres of spectacular scenery in the run-up to the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. Over four driving days, crews complete 60–70 precision tests in which accuracy, communication and teamwork count – not speed. Two classes: Classica (1906–1976) for classic vehicles and Legend (1976 to the present) for modern classics. Targa Classica is more than a rally – it is a celebration of driving culture, genuine community and Australian hospitality along unforgettable roads. For everyone who loves cars, roads and the lifestyle the two create together.
