Targa Classica is Australia's premier regularity driving event – inspired by Italy's legendary Grandi Eventi such as the Targa Florio and the Mille Miglia. The rally unfolds over more than 1,200 kilometres of spectacular scenery in the lead-up to the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. Over four days, crews tackle 60–70 precision trials where accuracy, communication and teamwork take centre stage rather than outright speed. Two categories: Classica (1906–1976) for classic vehicles and Legend (1976–present) for modern classics. Targa Classica is more than a rally – it is a festival of driving culture, community spirit and Australian hospitality along unforgettable roads.
