Map reading, not speed: navigation rallies in the Netherlands

The Meetellende ritten en kampioenschap is an annual championship for navigation rallies in the Netherlands, organised by the Amersfoortse Motor- en Automobielclub (AMAC) under the umbrella of the Nederlandse Rittensport Federatie (NRF).

In ten scoring events, it is not speed that counts but map reading, precision and strategy. Teams collect points over the entire season and compete for overall victory in various classes – ideal for beginners and experienced rally drivers.

AMAC was founded in 1933, has more than 400 members and describes itself as one of the largest and oldest clubs in the NRF. Since 2023 it has organised the Finalerit together with the NRF, which counts for both the AMAC and the NRF championship. Scoring is in the classes Expert, Sport and Tour, each for drivers (bestuurders) and navigators, making six rankings; in 2026 the best six results count. All cars are welcome regardless of age.

Here you will find all rounds of the “Meetellende ritten en kampioenschap” series with dates, start locations and details – directly from the organisers.
