Schinderhannes-Classic
The Schinderhannes-Classic is a tradition-rich classic and youngtimer rally in Germany's Hunsrück region, organised by HAC Simmern. Since its debut in 2011, around 75–80 teams gather every year to explore the most scenic landscapes between the Rhine, Moselle and Nahe rivers – a true highlight in the Rhineland-Palatinate classic car calendar. The rally starts on the historic Schlossplatz in Simmern, from where teams in two categories – sporting and touring – take on a varied route through the Soonwald forest and the Hunsrück highlands. Regularity tests and time-trial stages provide classic rally excitement. The legendary Schinderhannes buffet and evening award ceremony round off the day. A perfect blend of sporting challenge, conviviality and unique Hunsrück atmosphere.
