Roberto Gaburri Trophy

The Roberto Gaburri Trophy is the long-standing opening special stage of the legendary 1000 Miglia and is held every year on the opening day of the 1000 Miglia Village in Brescia. Named after the first president of 1000 Miglia Srl, the trophy honours the memory of a pioneer of historic motorsport. On a spectacular city route, participants start from Piazza Vittoria, pass the medieval Castello and finish in Piazza Paolo VI – right in the heart of Brescia. Around 100 carefully selected historic vehicles are admitted. For the crews, the Roberto Gaburri Trophy is the last chance to fine-tune car and stopwatch before the start of "the most beautiful rally in the world" – an emotional curtain-raiser full of tradition, glamour and Italian passion.
