Ennstal-Classic

The Ennstal-Classic is Austria's best-known classic car rally and is regarded as one of the most important classic rallies in Europe. What began in 1993 with just 30 participants as "motorsport as it used to be" is today a four-day icon of historic motorsport – held every July, starting in Gröbming.

A maximum of 200 cars built up to 1972 cover around 1,000 kilometres over three driving days against a spectacular alpine backdrop – from the Red Bull Ring to the steep hairpins of the Stoderzinken. More than 40 special stages test precision and feel for the car, entirely analogue with a mechanical watch.

Legends such as Stirling Moss, Niki Lauda, Derek Bell and Sebastian Vettel have shaped the event's reputation. The highlight is the Demo Grand Prix in Gröbming, and the crowning finale is the "Night of the Champions" – motorsport history you can touch.
