Ennstal-Classic
The Ennstal-Classic is Austria's most famous classic car rally and ranks among Europe's most prestigious Classic Rallies. What began in 1993 with just 30 participants as "motorsport the old-school way" has grown into a four-day icon of historic motorsport, held every July with its start in Gröbming.
A maximum of 200 cars built up to 1972 tackle around 1,000 kilometres across three driving days through the spectacular Alps – from the Red Bull Ring to the steep hairpins of the Stoderzinken. Over 40 special stages test precision and feel, strictly analogue with mechanical stopwatch.
Legends like Stirling Moss, Niki Lauda, Derek Bell and Sebastian Vettel have shaped the event. Highlights: the Demo Grand Prix and the "Night of the Champions".
